FORMULARIO DE REGISTRO
Artificial Intelligence in Medicine: Separating Facts from Fiction
23 March @ 7:00 am - 8:30 pm

Artificial intelligence is increasingly present in conversations about the future of healthcare. We hear about automated diagnoses, digital doctors, and machines that could change the way we understand disease. Yet, between spectacular headlines and alarmist messages, a key question arises: what is already happening today, and how will it really affect us?
This conference offers a clear and accessible perspective on the real impact of artificial intelligence in medicine and in people’s lives. Will it change the relationship between doctor and patient? Could it help detect diseases earlier? Will machines make decisions, or will they remain human? Through concrete examples, the session will explore which advances are already present in hospitals and which still belong to the realm of fiction.
Dr. Ignacio H. Medrano, neurologist and founder and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Savana, will share his experience in the use of large volumes of clinical data to improve research and medical practice. Using a clear and rigorous approach, the session will examine the real opportunities offered by artificial intelligence, its current limitations, and the ethical challenges it poses for society.
Speaker:
Dr. Ignacio H. Medrano (Neurologist and Co-Founder of Savana Medical)
